Bio: Tzipora Halevi received her Ph.D. from Polytechnic University. She received her M.Sc. from Northeastern University in Boston and a Bs.C. from the Technion, Israel, both in Electrical Engineering. Prior to her Ph.D., Tzipora worked in the industry for a few years, developing medical imaging systems for the medical and dental markets.
Main research areas are in cyber-security and biometric authentication. I am also interested in constrained devices security. Research Projects and publications include RFID protocols, device pairing (Implanted Medical Devices and cell-phone pairing) and keyboard eavesdropping. Also developed algorithms for anomaly detection in volumes. Area of expertise include signal processing and communication systems. Interested in developing and using signal and image processing techniques for addressing security issues.
